No matter what you think of this movie, you can't deny how beautiful of a song this is.
Yes, the idea of Postman Pat singing at a Britain's Got Talent-like show may sound bizarre (dare I say it, out-of-place) for Postman Pat, but Ronan Keating's voice is amazing and the flashbacks to Pat and Sara's wedding, their son Julian as a toddler and Pat's first encounter with Jess are a nice touch. 
The song's a great fit for this film!

My best friends husband was a postman and had a cat called Jess, he was tragically taken from us whilst at work 2 years ago. This movie made me cry and this song broke me! What a beautiful song sung again by Ronan!

Gee, Postman Pat was one of my true memorable british favourites, like Mr. Bean (LA show) "You Rang, M'Lord?", My Family, Wallace & Gromit shorts, Thomas The Tank Engine & Friends, Bob The Builder, and Bertha. When I saw this touching scene when I watched that movie, it almost made me cry. Best romantic love song I've ever heard.
