fter my recent repost of talking about my LOVE for an MDZS fanfic (Post Mortem by Cataclysmic_Calamity) I wanted to share some of my most favourite and beloved fanfics.

Please read the tags before reading. There is quite a variation of fics and in no order.

My thoughts:
LWJ’s Big 🍆 Agenda: This was one of my first WangXian fics and OOOF. I feel like the writer understood the characters SO well to transfer it so perfectly into a modern world. I really love the struggles they both went through and how they came together to overcome them and understand eachother better. It’s really a comfort read for me… and also the spice… in particular a bathtub scene 👀😈Just saying.

Red Chrysanthemums for Wei Ying: I can’t tell you how many times I’ve read this. It’s a TOUGH read, WangXian, specially Wei Ying goes through a LOT of 💩 (canon though). But DAMN. It’s so good and like the story-telling and AHHH. It hurts but you can’t put it down.

For a Good Time, Call: This is another one where I am like THE AUTHOR OF THIS FIC GETS THEM. The way they wrote WangXian (and the side characters) I LOVED. Seriously loved. It was a healing fic for me to read and honestly discovered I kin Lan Zhan in a lot of ways through this.

In The Dark Right Now: This was also one of my first fics I read and THE HEALING JIANG BROTHER LOVE. I also love an injured boy… I am unwell alright. But it’s also very tender and sweet and a one shot.

Accidents Will Happen: AHHH my fellow MPREG lovers, this one is for you. I reread this…a lot. I love pregnant Wei Ying, sue me. ALSO, HOW TENDER AND SWEET AND 😈 LAN ZHAN IS IN THIS. Listen, it’s so perfectly canon. Like it’s set in historical times, it’s canon to me. I love it so much.

Let the streetlights guide you home: Listen, listen. WangXian in a racer fic? YES PLEASE. It’s hot. Very well written. Got classic WangXian moments. And the podfic? Yes. Yes please.
