What I love about Black Mesa is that not only recreate the actual game we all loved, Crowbar Collective manager to recreate that same feeling Half-Life 1 gave us back in the day. Be that a On a Rail tram, silo test chambers or the last HECU encounter in the open air, it feels exactly how we all remember it. And it's amazing.

Brilliant remaster, great sound design all over and the new ideas for Xen are fantastic. I would buy this for whatever the price, you can keep coming back too due to secrets along the maps (and achievements).

I know you might never read this comment, since I’m late to ever trying Half-Life but this is the best remake I have ever played in my life, and finding out how long it took you to make it. I was blown away! You all did an amazing job, from details to remade levels everything here is just perfect. I really hope the next update is going to fix some of the crashes and other major bugs people have been encountering, because it'd be a shame to not get to experience this masterpiece. Currently doing a clean re-install, hoping it'll do the trick. I've been playing this game for years and I'm not gonna leave this earth until I've played through the full version.

Yes, I've received what I want and even more, the GUI is realy good optimized and works fine on laptop, the atmosphere is cool, I've played the original version 10+ years ago and now I'm happy again )) this is not only "sience fiction shooter", but also the game where you need to think. Xen is amazing. Great job folks, thx!

I want to write that you have a decent enough remake of immeno Half-Life on the Source engine. However, there are a few erroneous and forgotten details that need and can be fixed and an update released. I will not write everything in a long text, just try to play and check if there are any errors, very carefully, at first glance or from repeat it may not work, but on the third attempt you will be able to see the details that you do not know how to fix. Thanks for reading it.
