Dexter gets a #10 head to toe, but we leave a fluffy tail on him.

He’s an old dude and doesn’t appreciate being brushed... so we keep him on regular appointments for a full shave down.

That’s how I used to keep my Shi Tzu! He was so adorable, the best pup ever. We lost him to cancer 2 years ago after 12 wonderful years of love and companionship 😭😭😭😭😭

I’ve had four Shih Tzus and we have always cut them short like this. It’s called the “teddy bear cut” around here. Our pups always vastly preferred being short to being scruffy!

I ran into a shih tzu at my mall she had a shave too and had the prettiest little green bows that looked festive, but what made my heart melt was when she rolled for belly rubs from not just me but two other people as well and she loved it😍

He’s got a long nose for a shih tzu! Or at least it’s longer than the 3 shih tzu’s I’ve had! Personally I don’t love the look of a shaved face for most shih tzu’s but it does look pretty cute on this guy!
