Go to a book store, you find that they still carry lullabies and nursery rhyme books.
Anyone over 40 will have grown up on these songs. And none of them fell out of a tree when the bough broke.

My dad never sang lullabies to my sister and I. He passed in February and we love remembering that he sang us different songs. Things like 'Jeremiah was a bullfrog' and this chorus.... Every time I go to town, the boys start kicking my dog around. You better stop kicking my dog around. I don't care if he's just a hound. My grandma sang, 'You are my Sunshine' to all of us grandkids.
