One of the best 2 months of any year in the 90s for the UK charts

Gotta feel sorry for Gorky's Zygotic Mynci, most chart entries without ever reaching the top 40. Great band they were. I like Gomez, "Moving" by Supergrass is one of the best songs they've ever done, good ones by James, The Charlatans. The Buffalo Tom cover of "Going Underground" didn't get as much airplay - that airplay went to the flip side which was Liam Gallagher and Steve Cradock's cover of "Carnation". It was a strange time for guitar bands back then I thought, especially with all the Europop and manufactured pop that was around at the time. Westlife epitomised that era for me for all the wrong reasons, because I was in a placement at college back then surrounded by these girls who were obsessed with that boyband and they were hyping them through the bloody roof! Back then I thought "5 Val Doonicans sitting on bar stools"

B*Witched, steps, boy bands, cliched ibiza dance, divas just exercising their tonsels and even the great names having auto-genned sounding songs. Exactly how I remember late 99, note the best. But great working putting the vid together

Made the mistake of buying the Ann Lee album.
