Whenever I’d go to my moms house after being at my dads for the week I’d cry from 4pm when I d get dropped off to the next few days until, Dec 3rd 2020 and a fire swept through my dads house and I hadn’t seen my mom in 2 years, I’m now living full time with my dad and I see my sistier and mom once a month whenever I want. I only needed more time with my dad since 10 month after I was born in my grandpas barn my mom ran away with me and my sister and my dad had to live with my grandma until he found me and my sister and he got full custody of us until a while back and my dad has had countless heart surgeries since and I had to stay with my mom for years so I feel you

My mom talks to me about her problems, but only when I’m in a good mood. She listens to my problems and I listen to hers. We can’t afford therapy so it’s the best way to get a little help😊😊

Real. I asked to know more about why my parents got divorced when it happened. I was 11. I was too young to have that burden and now I’m in therapy because of it. Even if the kids want to know, you can’t say anything bad about the other parent. It’s just wrong.

My dad’s side of the family has never liked me, it gets so bad as to when I’m there they tell me he should’ve picked a different person to have a kid with.
(I was like seven at the time, I really don’t think I responded right.)
I told them that I agreed with them and that I wished he wasn’t my dad. It turned into a whole situation with me ending up going back to my mom’s while his mother screamed at me the entire time I got into the car saying that I was a worthless kid and that I didn’t deserve that side of the family.
I still don’t talk to his side of the family (other than him because he’s actually okay now)

I feel like this all the time. Especially when I was young and called my Step-Father daddy and I was scolded horribly. Now I only call him his by his name.

I can agree my parents split up when I was around 4 and recently my my mom didn't want me talking to him and he would get mad when I would stop texting him and this would happen frequently. And now my dad has a new phone and I cant even say hi to him

I just loved my girl and never let anyone talk bad about her Mom. Now she’s gone and last divorce my kids don’t talk to me. I’ve lost all all my kids 😢don’t play games with your kids just love them

This happens to me 24/7 and I can’t do anything about it and it breaks my heart bc it hurts to listen to what they have to say about each other but then I remember 2 years ago they were a perfect couple 🙃

Worse thing we can do as parents talk about the mother or father of our child! Keep that to yourself and enjoy the time with your kid(s)
