We should really stop saying “bipartisan” as if that’s what it’s is. Whether it should be or can be is irrelevant. It’s such a lazy tactic to use against your opponent when they don’t agree with your stances.

I have a genuine question. What is the strategy behind resignation? Doesn't that just remove all of the top military officials that are loyal to the Constitution?

I'm thinking the generals must have realized that could be the case, so that would effectively just hand the military over to Trump loyalists. Am I missing something?

Wouldn't a better strategy be to refuse to obey the order en mass which would cause enough of a delay so that the people could react and the governmental system could rectify itself before they could be court-martialed?
