Martyrdom is one of the hardest pills to swallow. To think that one would lay down their life for their beliefs, and that time and time again martyrdom has been in the pages of Christianity's history... I think that takes a lot of courage. And it happened time and time again, even today.

People get persecuted for speaking the truth nowadays. If someone becomes a martyr for their Christian fate, and gets ended for it just by virtue of preaching it, then that faith must hold some big weight of Truth behind it.
