The first thing I thought when I saw that it weighs 9, 500 Lbs and has 3 second 0-60MPH is that somebody is going to get killed.

since I'm early here's a fun fact: this car is so heavy, if they'd sell it in the Netherlands you would have to get a truck license since its over 3500kg, and it would he restricted to 80kmh, or like 50mph

oh and road tax is calculated by weight. I don't even want to figure out what this would be, definitely well into the thousands per year.

So, GM has some of the best engineers in the world, and the engineering that was put into this vehicle is extremely impressive. However, this is quite possibly the dumbest vehicle on the face of the earth. Let’s all be honest; this is just a status symbol and a way to flex on everyone else. Hard pass from me.

In the past GM has used cheap quality buttons. Also, I am glad it has separate buttons for climate control instead in the infotainment system. Some cars the infotainment system is too complex which means you have to go find the climate controls

Another GM silly decision. No one was asking for Hummer to return, and definitely not for a 9000lb electric truck. The battery pack alone weighs as much as a Prius. Something this heavy has no need to go 0-60 in 3 seconds. That's a lot of kinetic energy in a crash and a lot of weight wearing down the road. This truck is 1/3 as efficient as the average electric car because it wouldn't be a Hummer any other way. This is absolutely a status symbol for the men who bought the H2 or an F-350 with a 12" lift and rubber band tires on 26" rims. "Me must have biggest truck. Now liberals can't be mad because it electric." Jeep, Ford, and Toyota are printing money with midsize 4x4s with real off-road ability, GM's response is a $100k electric truck that's too big for a normal parking spot.
With that out of the way, the T-tops/targa top is cool and the tech is fantastic. Every car needs a button to put all the windows up or down. I'm a fan of the H1 and with as much tech as this has, it can carry the Hummer off-road heritage as long as it's not very far from an outlet. 4-wheel steering is the return of Quadrasteer. I don't like GM much but I'm interested to see where the Ultium platform goes. Their partnership with Honda looks promising.
