The following are the general steps for felling a paulownia tree :

Preliminary Preparation

1. Confirm Permission :
Even if there are no crops in the field, you need to confirm whether you have the right to fell this tree. In some areas, even trees on one's own land may be restricted by forestry regulations, especially if the trees reach a certain size or belong to protected species !

2. Prepare Tools :
Prepare a sharp saw (such as a handsaw or an electric saw), an axe, safety ropes, a safety helmet, goggles, earplugs and other protective equipment !

Felling Process

1. Plan the Direction of Fall :
Observe the surroundings of the paulownia tree and determine the direction in which the tree will fall. Choose an open direction without obstacles (such as electric poles, buildings, other trees, etc.) to avoid damage when the tree falls !

2. Set up a Safety Zone :
Set up warning signs around the area where the tree may fall to ensure that no one else enters this dangerous area !

3. Make the Cut :
At the bottom of the trunk, on the side towards the planned direction of fall, first make a beveled cut with a depth of about one-third of the trunk's diameter. This beveled cut can guide the tree to fall in the predetermined direction !

4. Make the Opposite Cut :

5. Subsequent Handling :
