I agree with a lot of the commenters here in that what he is saying could just be an interference play on what IS reality, but I also see a point he could be making.

A man that is done with a marriage may find it more convenient to stay in that marriage if he is getting away with infidelity or he just dominates the marriage and everything is done on his terms.

I caught my ex wife red handed with loads of evidence that she committed adultery but I was the one that actually ended up filing the paperwork for a no fault divorce. So all around it wasn't true cuz she obviously wanted the divorce and she was at fault.

I listened to this entire interview, and this short doesn't do justice to the point he's trying to make. I didn't agree with everything he said, but I agreed with more than I thought I would. He goes on after this clip to explain that in a lot of cases the husband has already abandoned the family for his secretary or whatnot, and is not supporting or participating in his family. The wife then has no choice but to sign the papers, despite often wanting and wishing she could fix the situation. This obviously isn't every case, but you can see how cases simular to that can skew the numbers to paint a different picture than what's actually happening.

Most people who want divorce want it because of something the other person has done. A lot of the time women file divorce because their husbands are cheating on them or are abusive and we can't hold women accountable for that.
