I picked this up at walgreens today after watching this... Best of the line so far the yellow grey red and blue plastic is fantastic they could have painted it but they went the extra mile. Love the claws too thanks for the review. And a special thanks to hasbro for doing it right.

I remember from personal experience,
that the only way I could ever get Monzo to fit nicely inside to sit him in facing backwards,
so that he's "piloting" Weirdwolf liken to to position of a rear tail gunner in a B-52.

Great update to an already great G1 toy. The gun is so big because you can sit the Titanmaster in there.

I don't know if anyone mentioned this yet, but if you pull down the chest in robot mode, there are molded tech specs. Nice touch, Hasbro.

man i like wolfwire, its giving me this Zoid command wolf / shadow fox vibe to it. the robot mode is also impressive.

Whole time he was fiddling with the gun in robot mode "doesn't really fit in his hand...  maybe his leg..."  I was like "ARM CANNON!  TRY GIVING HIM AN ARM CANNON!" lol.  Still great looking figure.  I had the fansproject one for ages and the lacking arm articulation drove me crazy.  This one seems to do better in that area.

The large cannon on his back and the toy's general aesthetic reminds me of a Command Wolf from Zoids. I don't mind that at all but G1 purists may have an issue with that

The rear leg transformation seems very familiar. If I remember correctly, it's the same as Ripclaw's (Transformers Prime Predacon deluxe) leg transformation. Although, this seems a lot more stable.

Weirdwolf looks pretty great. Can't wait to get him, if I see him around that is.
Although, would be interesting to see Hasbro retool/repaint this guy into a predacon, using Alpha Trion to retool into the torso, could make a pretty cool Predaking for Combiner Wars, but we all know now, that line is dead & now Titans Return is onward..oh well, 1 can only dream I guess.

finally a Headmaster that I really like the robot looks really good and wolf looks really good I just wish they would go back to their standard Transformers line without having to Headmasters the Headmaster was never really my favorite line of toys when I was a kid I liked the standard Transformers and the ones baced on old anime shows like macross and dorvock
