Martin Heidegger (1889 – 1976) was a German philosopher who is best known for contributions to phenomenology, hermeneutics, and existentialism. He is among the most important and influential philosophers of the 20th century.

In Heidegger's fundamental text Being and Time (1927), "Dasein" is introduced as a term for the type of being that humans possess.

A Reading group is supposed to be inclusive of all peoples ideas and asks each reader to be a part of one collective resding body. There are never any stupid questions or assertions when reading these difficult texts. I am sorry you had to go through that I would love to discuss Heidegger with you
