I had such a crush on Eddie back in the day. He could sing the phone book to me and I'd love it. I also loved the Rascals because this is how I bonded with my brother. This song written by Eddie when he and his girl at the time were at Garret Mt. In Patterson NJ during a Rainy Day. He also wrote the lyrics to Grooving while walking in Central Park in NYC. He is a lyrical genius!!!

I still love the Rascals...since 1966...totally love this song...lucky we live in Hawaii, I saw him 3x in concerts and exhibition hall at the Blaisdell, in those days it was the HIC...I'll always have the memories of the Rascals ♡
