To Read XML file through Javascript

This is simple HTML file. I have used WAMP server .

Got the WAMP server. Saved both files to the www folder, just as you did. Quadruple checked my code. The button and headline pop up, but pressing the button does nothing. No data shows up. Am I missing something?
