On Thursday,  Pakistan’s special envoy on Afghanistan Mohammad Sadiq Khan will host a meeting of the “Extended Troika” made up of Russia, China, U.S. and Pakistan. For the first time, the Troika-Plus, as it is called, will also meet with Taliban’s acting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi, who is visiting Islamabad for bilateral meetings

China and pakistan hosted another meeting immediately the next day with US and Russia just to look as important.
Obviously China don't want to be seen as a junior player in India's planned
meeting, as pakistan itself is already insignificant for India. As Palki mentioned, one wants clout, the otger wats political leverage.
Now with Agni 5, S400 and what not..!! India is no mood to sqautter with CCP, Pakistan and Taliban too.
India has warned Taliban, air power and counter-attack in Afghanistan will be an option if Taliban disrupt Kashmir.
Latest Israeli meetings with India and a 1971's war library photo's where Pakarmy surrender to IndianArmy suggests there are spanners in the works at LOC, LAC and a calculated move by India to annahilate Pakarmy also in sight.
