Let's be honest here, as much of a scumbag as he is, Oskar is still one of the funniest side characters on this show.

Grandpa Phil is definitely a solid old man I would hang out with because he’s looking out for Arnold and he was having no time for Oskar’s shit when he asked to sleep in his grandson’s bedroom.

Oskar is definitely the same scumbag who slept in Arnold’s bedroom and gambled and lost his CD player in a card game. This is especially after Suzie rightfully kicked his sorry ass out after he lied about borrowing money.

Suzie eventually divorced oskar and moved out of the boarding house, good thing too, he was too good for her. Honestly the fact this is still a childrens show is probably the main reason he is still alive as in real world he would of been murdered by somebody by now.

When I was a kid it went right by me when Oskar asked about Arnold's room thinking he generally wanted to improve him and Suzie's living condition but looking back at it he probably word for word got sad/annoyed seeing that. Just wanted a different room so he wouldn't have to.
