FC RX-7 with 2JZ engine swap. The engine was converted from twin turbos to a twin charged setup which is both turbocharged and supercharged. The compressed air from the turbo is fed in to the supercharger and compressed again before going in to the engine. When he was asked why he did it he said "Because I wanted to".

It's got a 2JZ supra motor not a rotary. And the supercharger is never disengaged. As you said its good for low end power and then when the efficiency of the supercharger tapers off the turbo is just starting to kick in.

is the supercharger in parallel with the turbo?

@CjsSta
Best of two worlds, low end instant boost to assist the rotary at low ends and spool the turbo faster.. High end boost my a big ass turbo while disengaging the sc to prevent parasitic loss

hey you've got the wrong idea in your comment. if it's set up the way twin charging is supposed to work the supercharger actually feeds compressed air to the turbo. that's how it assists low end spool..

it wouldn't be better to disengaged the SC when the turbo is spooling? i mean SC is a restriction at high rpm or am i wrong? i'm not a mechanic of course... don't know shit about mechanic... just read stuff about SC and TC on internet and from friends.. as far as sound is concern i would take the SC engaged :):):)
