Don't you just love it when you decide to tell a friend about something you like, and then they already know it and love it? Yeah, I do too.

I always found it funny how people use the term "Apocalypse" to mean something akin to the destruction of cities, societies, global war and death, nuclear holocaust, etc. Where that is the Modern connotation,  its traditional and literal meaning from the Greek means a disclosure of knowledge or lifting of a veil; akin to spiritual or intellectual enlightenment/revelation (the Ancients, at times, seem so much more optimistic then many people today).  Remember in Homer's "The Odyssey" the sly character, Calypso, is shrouded in mystery and enigma--her name literally means "deceive" or "cover over."  So an Apocalypse is the opposite reality--an Uncovering or Unveiling.  How it got turned into meaning something like FallOut 3 or Mad Max would be interesting to know. I ask this because most people use it with a negative connotation when it is actually something to look forward to in the traditional sense of the word; something I think would serve us to recover in our society....unless you fear revelation or enlightenment. Could someone provide an "apocalypse" for me to this question?

now this is a long debated statement I'm about to make but I believe I'm 100% correct. The lyrics at 1:00 should be:
"I'm waking up
I feel it in my bones
Enough to make my systems GLOW"
This is obviously what it should be regarding the chemicals and radiation.
It's a small thing I know, but I seem to be the only one to agree on this.
