I got in by having 10 year experience in diagnostics, and associates in Science. And like u said, it is about networking! I spoke to many people by LinkedIn! I applied to 3 jobs, got rejected to 2. Now I’m a R&D associate. I’m very happy! It’s all possible!

Happened to fall into industry randomly when just applying to jobs. I have a bachelors in Biochem and started as a Technician on the floor but have managed to rotate through Process Engineering, Process Validation and I’m now a Compliance Engineer - in very short period of time.
Once you get your foot in the door, you can figure things out.

Thank you for helpful tips! On the 3rd tip you mentioned “blindly apply for a job posted on Linkedin, and then reach out to recruiters”
How are we gonna know the specific recruiter’s name and we’ll reach out to him/her?
OR Do we just generally search & connect to that company’s recruiters and then reach out to individual one of them to ask a push on our resume?

Which postgraduate degree would be better for getting into industry master in public health or master in health science or master in pharmacology? I’m planning to complete a postgraduate degree but confused which one would benefit me more.

I actually got my bachelors in Neuroscience and ended up working in pharmaceuticals. I’m starting a new position as a qc microbiologist for a pharmaceutical company soon and want to know where I should go from there in terms of growth. I always wanted to go to grad school for clinical psych but now I am considering going back to school for something that can help me move up in big Pharma. Any suggestions?

When networking, should the LinkedIn messages and emails occur during business hours or outside of business hours? My current struggle is that I am busy doing stand-up comedy at night which occurs right after business hours so it is tricky to network during this time. Is it advisable to network during lunch hours or during afternoon breaks?

Hi, currently I'm studying MPH-Epidemiology in the US and done my Bachelor's in Pharmacy. I'm an international student and I got to know that MPH does not come under STEM education so as an international student it's going be difficult for me to have job opportunities in US as I won't be able get a STEM OPT extension. Can you guide me to how to plan my goals and get a pharmaceutical company that would sponsor my Visa.
