The self containment keeps all the nutrition and moisture compact and local so no competition from other plants. It's cheap and easy. I love it and will try it this summer!

Are the container soil (clean soil) rice husks, cow manure and ashes in equal parts mixed then add to bags? I’ve only planted cherry tomatoes once and read to add calcium to the soil to dry milk powder to prevent blossom end rot and it seemed to work. If you need potassium is to soak 4 -6 med/large banana peels in 1 gal water for about a week for potassium then pour over soil. Is that the reason you add bananas to the soil? Your way is so much simpler and very convenient to do. Glad I found your channel and now a new subscriber. You make it so easy without saying a word. Excellent!
