I see you from Tigre, Argentina. I found a heliodor, but not in the shape they usually have. This one is almost completely rolled. But it has those internal channels and bubbles characteristic of them. In addition to the greenish yellow color full of life. This is what the gem looks like through its wear, which forms a frosted film, as if it came to life inside. I also took its density and this is exactly what heliodor is concerned.
And also a rarity, what I estimate to be an imperial topaz is housed in a geode as a single crystal. A single crystal trapped in it. Amethyst tips shatter like ground glass when extreme force is applied to try to scratch it with the tip. However, it is barely scratched by a tungsten carbide tip. So I conclude that it is hardness 7.5 to 8.5 in Mohs scale. Thanks buddy

I live in Reno Nevada actually right by Truckee River. I'm talking like half a block away from it. Would I be wasting my time looking for gems. In this river?

You aren't going to learn much of any use in this video if you don't already have a good basic understanding of Geology and/or Gemology and are already familiar with a significant number of minerals and/or the types of host rock specific minerals are apt to be located in.
