Twin Peaks Season 3 Episode 8 top moments. Our reaction and favorite WTF scenes in the Return part 8 - Gotta Light?
Twin Peaks the Return Part 8 reaction and top moments. Episode 8 of season 3 was one of the most visually stunning hours of TV thanks to David Lynch's unique vision. We travelled through time to 1945, and saw that the Giant has been watching what is happening on Earth for quite some time.
Some of the top moments of Twin Peaks s3 e8 include: Bob's origin story, Laura Palmer's origin story, Evil Coop getting shot by Ray, a look at the Woodsman, seeing inside where the giant lives, meeting the giant's counterpart, and meeting a new character who becomes inhabited by a mysterious creature that hatched from an egg. Twin Peaks part 8 went to places we haven't seen yet, and make a connection to a nuclear explosion that may be responsible for some of the evil that exists in the world.

Season 1 episode 8, good Cooper is shot. Season 3 episode 8, evil Cooper is shot. Just an observation.

You think Lynch was trolling us with that whistling scene in the previous scene? Seemed like some pretty solid foreshadowing with the atomic blast behind his head.

Yeah, that Penderecki "Threnody for the Victims of Hiroshima" is one of the great works of the 20th Century. Glad that Lynch chose that.

I liked the face of Bob appearing while the 'dark' figures were working on evil Coop.

The giants theater is the same as in Mulholland Drive. Club Silencio!!! The blue haired lady sits in the balcony in MD.

And we thought it was unrivaled 25 years ago...he just laid a whole new groundwork, devoid of coffee and pie.

Man, I really miss Frank Silva. Love seeing his face every now and then in this new season we are so fortunate to be watching. Seemed like a genuinely funny guy, great actor, and great person. Excellent video as always Pete, rough that we have to wait a little while before the next one.

I'm not to hot on experimental film, but this was fantastic. The weight of the more conventional storytelling that preceded it made this part very interesting, and I found myself uncharacteristically captivated trying to understand the implications of the strange events as they continued to unfold on the screen.
