Pence should just disregard the 1887 law because it is unconstitutional. Then revert to the 12th amendment . Let the Dems sue him, then it will go to the supreme court. The law can't be unconstitutional and this will force the supreme court to take up the case.
The state legislature in different state just disregarded their constitutions and made unconstitutional laws.

So what will happen if Pence just disregards the 1887 law ???

Good Morning Dr. N. I am in Alabama and have been on unemployment since may when my employer died and I got quarantined by the state. I started drawing unemployment and I got a check last week (week ending 12/26). I filed for my PUA like I normally for week ending 01/02/21. On my uitracker this morning everything is different than it was day before yesterday. Amounts that I have been paid and what i have remaining. It says i have nothing. Could you find out if alabama is updating their system or why they might do people this way. Do you have any info on that?

The electoral count act is not legal. Any alteration to the constitution requires a constitutional ammendment. You should know this if you're going to be telling us what's legal and what's not. If I'm wrong, tell me how. We'll see what happens.
