I have the Bondi 7 and LOVE them! I’m sure the Bondi 8 are great too. Since I switched to Hoka my plantar fasciitis has gone away and never come back.

I just got home from the ER. 70% of the staff were wearing Hoka’s.I bought the black ones and they get delivered in 2 days.

As a Retired SneakerHead, The Bondi 7 might be the most comfortable sneaker I ever owned....On my feet for 12 hours at work and never have foot pain or fatigue when wearing the B7.

I work 12 hr shifts in the ER, I was rotating between crocs and Nike free’s, didn’t like either but the nikes were soft(ish) and the crocs had lots of toe room. I recently got the Altra escalante for work and love them! Got a pair of Bondi’s the same day for my distance runs and am very happy with them as well. We’ll see I might end up rotating between the two for work eventually!

It looks like the extended heel is part of the meta-rocker design of the sole. It is extended and slightly curved so when you foot strikes on the heel, the foot is allowed to roll all the way through to the toes on the push-off of your stride whether walking or running. I have been wearing the Bondi line of shoes for years and have found them the best and most healthy for my feet and legs.

Just ordered a pair of the Bondi SR for nursing school. Not a ton of videos on the SR specifically but so far everything I've heard is good!

I was a patient at Cedars Sinai medical center in Beverly Hills, CA back in march and was advised by my orthopedic surgeon that these are fantastic for me. I had a hip replacement surgery and developed issues with my knees as a result. I stand for 8 hours a day at work and hope these will help. Thanks for the informative review!

I purchased my first pair of Hokas a year ago. I purchased the Clifton 8. Loved how they formed to my foot and felt very comfortable walking around. I had plantar fasciitis at the time as well. The Clifton 8 really cut down my foot pain by more than half.

I just started working as a Phlebotomist working in a laboratory. Every day I am on my feet the majority of the time. Recently ordered myself the Bondi 8 shoes. Tomorrow I am going to be getting them. Super excited!

Thank you for a simple to the point review!

The Bondi 7 are much more comfortable for standing and walking on your feet all day. The 8s have a harder foam, more clunky and tighter upper mesh. I just stocked up on more Bondi 7s before they are sold out.

I am a healthcare worker as well. A Rad Tech (X-Ray in a hospital). I use some Sacony that have good support and cushion. My niece is in Med School and she said she heard from others at the hospital where she does clinical rotations that Hoka are great shoes for being on your feet at the hospital. I saw some for a big price discount online and ordered some and they should arrive tomorrow. I really look forward to trying them out. They are Bondi 7 but if I like them I will get some Bondi 8.

I work 12 hour shifts in a warehouse and have been experiencing the absolute worse pain in my right foot. I went to the Dr and they recommended I get a pair of Hokas but now I don't know which pair to get !

I just purchase those same ones for vacation long walks and standing. This was 1 of the 2 recommended shoes for my flat feet.

These shoes are a lifesaver for hospital workers like me! Pushing people around on stretchers/beds all day can be tough, especially when they're too tall. But these shoes give me the extra height I need to see over them, even when patients want to sit up. No more tippy toes for me! I'm approximately 5'6" 5'7". The Bondi eights are also very comfortable—more comfortable for me than the sevens. That being said, I feel like it really depends on your foot shape and, like you said, what you do in the field. #healthcareheroes#comfyfeet

Working in healthcare, you really need a good & comfortable shoes as you will do a lot to walking seeing patients and seeing referral. People tend to recommend Skechers but i find them to be overrated and their midsole is mediocre. I tried Bondi at a shoe store but unfortunately it does not suits me. In the past i prefer ultraboost midsole shoe as i found then to be really comfortable. My new favourite is Nimbus 25 . It really feel soft and comfortable .

I seen a few reviews and the shoe seemed to have issues with stability meaning the sole collapsed slightly creating imbalance. Seeing that, I rejected the idea of the Hoka shoe. Your demonstration showed me different. I'm just looking for comfort since my foot surgery. Good review so thanks for that...

With Hoka you really need to wear them often for over 3 months. When new they're pretty good but after broken into, they start degrading fast and on mine the arches collapsed after long distance power walks. Better shoes are Asics Nimbus, Kinsei and Novablast, or MBT anything. The most reliable Hoka is their Speedgoat 5 but prob not suitable for indoor use.

Hi Dr Jay.

I bought the Hoka Bondi 8s 3 weeks ago. Right hand shoe. Something is digging into my inner sole of my foot. Unsure if it’s the inner sole or the inner of the show itself. When I look at the shoes I can’t see anything obvious. I’m wondering what could cause that. What may be the reasons Dr.

In saying this Hoka are very stylish and the best looking shoes. But one needs more than just style and looks.

Cheers.

You should definitely try the Nike invincible run. It's a recovery running shoe. Super comfortable for long hour days, would be great for nurses or doctors. Plus they're less bulky and lighter than these hokas. The most comfortable shoes I've ever had on my feet

Hokas have good foam. This shoe Bondi 8 is nice but had one big problem, the outsole dug in my heel arch. It was very uncomfortable. I think different shoes fit different feet. If you want a max shoe, I would go for the new balance v more or ASICS gel nimbus 25 if you run into this problem with the Bondi 8. Otherwise the Bondi do feel nice like marshmallow feel. A little different from the previous version. They do run tight in width be aware. I would look into getting the EE or 4e depending how wide your foot is.
