Lesson 2: SIGNS OF DIVINITY

How are the miracles performed by Jesus signs of divinity? In this week's lesson we will look at 3 miracles, feeding the 5,000, healing the blind man, and raising Lazarus, and Jesus' related I AM statements to learn what each miraculous event was intended to communicate.

Thank you, Bro. Travis, for making that point about the parents. I grew up hearing my folks say if we allow others to define us, we will become vain and difficult. People nowadays are more mindful of what people think and say rather than what God knows about us. No wonder our society and the world are in the mess that we are in currently. In the same breath human today even people in the church will engage in and perpetuate lies and rumors rather than to believe in the truth. Time for us to get back to the old ways in which truth is truth, lie is lie and checking out things before believing and running with it.

The reason why the disciples were caught in the storm is because they didn't immediately leave but instead stayed waiting for Jesus and weren't happy that Jesus didn't allow to be made the king. If they left when told they would have been safe on the other side instead of still on the lake
