Jamie Lee Curtis Addresses ‘Nepo Baby’ Mention at SAG Awards

Jamie Lee Curtis spoke with Access Hollywood at the 2023 SAG Awards after winning big for her role in “Everything Everywhere All At Once,” and she spoke about mentioning “nepo babies” in her acceptance speech. “I just bring it up because it’s around. It’s just sort of a joke,” she said.

I think it’s a bit unfair to label JLC as a “nepo-baby” the same way as the Jenners, Hadid sisters, or any of the political big names like the Clintons, McCains, and the Trumps, because JLC really worked hard to establish her own legacy in Hollywood by consistently working over 40 years in show business. At the very least, JLC’s success is 90% hard work and merit and 10% nepotism in my opinion.
