Amazing to see this 46yr old boat being restored to its former glory, it was waiting for you both to enjoy life on the sea again one day soon.

must say we're enjoying your videos. No ponderous musings. No random statements without context. And so refreshing---no constant, annoying music in between talking. Please don't follow other youtube channels filling every second of silence with unnecessary and annoying music. And I like the humour. Keep it up. Remember, everything seems daunting and the work incessant. Until you tackle it and then it's done and can be struck off the list.

Big props to JD too for coming down and helping out :D

What a multi cultural approach to boat repair. A French man, an English man and a Chinese woman as supervisor. Definitely achieving today's societal goals of an inclusive workforce, well done!

The rudder airfoil shape back to the tailing edge is so much better than before! Understandingly, you two are gaining many new friends weekly!

All hail Lord Victor, Master of the Skegs, Planer of the Rudders, and all-round good guy! :D

the outboard is a mercury 6.6 2 stroke. You need to add 2 stroke oil to the fuel or the engine will seize within minutes of running. Also it looks like it also needs an impeller for the water pump. Cheap fix but necessary. Love watching you guys have all the fun :)

Really good work on the skegs, and especially nice reprofiling of the rudders. It's great to see all those helpful people. I think Sir Victor deserves great praise.

Lord Victor, Master of the Skegs and non-alcoholic JD (John-David?) are great people! Many thanks from all Wildings Sailing fans for your help and support; both useful and fun.

I'm impressed in how quickly things are progressing! Sure, there's plenty to do, but you have achieved SO much! Be very proud

I like this.. there was no despair, grief or scenes of Mark banging his head on the broken skeg.
I'll just have to wait until next week. I'm so happy to see real progress!

you both are showing great self control and never miserable in spite of all the work and stress and pressure in doing up your boat like some people that would lose total control in so many ways

So people are generous!. That’s because you have an amazing work ethic. And having bought this “probably nearly derelict boat” ( which I confess I thought to be rather more than unwise) — but you are proving me WRONG.
And I confess that I like your “unprofessional” vlogs.
What a good vlog this has been!
Quite brill!

You guys are blowing my mind how well of a job you’re doing. Excellent specialists helping and the proper tools. Wow

Be aware of galvanic reactions due to different metals contacting each other (like aluminum and steel). They must be isolated from each other. I love this channel. Glad to see you had some helpers

I must confess tht at the very beginning, to see Nadiana (?) being more concerned about decorating the living spaces, I tought this refit will get nowhere and fail.
BUT, seeing you two going at it, with limited budget, tools and knowhow, you two do impress me seriously. No way you're gonna fail ! This nice boat will go back to water in no time ! Kudos to you, young guys!
