I'm a huge Bruno fan, but Rhodes and Superstar Billy Graham headlined the Garden two straight cards in autumn 1977, then came back in the summer of 1978 for the bullrope match, but in that one I believe they co-headlined with a Backhand title defense. Other than that, everything Bruno said here was straight up facts.

Greetings family, happy holidays. Being a fan of the squared circle since 75, I can assure you that the "DREAM" certainly did set NYC on FIRE back in the late 70's ! His initial run lead to his eventual (and sold out) championship matches with the Superstar. Dusty did other sporadic bits into the early 80's. But make no mistake about it, DUSTY drew, and popped like Jiffy pop ! All due respect for the Living Legend, but I believe Bruno is speaking in a responsive manner here. I also believe he just doesn't remember this specific period at that time. Either way, two all time pioneers. Blessings to you all, JB
