El guitarrista estadounidense Bill Frisell, artista clave de la escena del jazz contemporáneo, se presentó en 2017 junto al bajista Tony Scherr y el baterista Kenny Wollesen. El trío interpretó composiciones propias junto a canciones procedentes del jazz, el country, el pop y el rhythm & blues.

El ciclo "Jazz. Visitas internacionales" rememora grandes conciertos realizados en el Centro Cultural Kirchner, con figuras como Bill Frisell, Egberto Gismonti y Barry Harris, entre otras.
