I’m reading Milk Blood Heat in April, too! After reading Lesser Known Monsters of the Twenty-First Century recently, I had a craving for more short stories. They often tend to stick with me more than many novels even do! (Edit- typo)

I think I’ve had God of Small Things on my TBR for a couple years now at this point I am so intimidated by it! The Seas also sounds really interesting-plus that cover is stunning!
So excited to see what you think of interpreter of maladies, there are a couple of stories in that collection that I still think about a lot.

I've always been more of a "pick up a random book that just attracts my attention for no clear reason" sort of reader, but I am trying to give myself more of a structure to actually get through the books on my list! I've been wanting to read "Milk Blood Heat, " curious to hear what you think! You have so many good books on your TBR!

Interested in your thoughts re Of Women and Salt. I heard she started this as short stories and then culled it into a novel. I read it and liked it but to me it was a story about addiction above all other themes.

Hi Kat! I've heard that Milk, Blood, Heat is supposed to be good. I tried to create a #carryover hashtag in my early youtube days because I always have a good handful of books from one month to the next so I was happy to see your chapters labelled as "rollover" - I feel like you're my people. The Friend sounds so good and I'd not heard of it - so thanks for talking about it. I read Interpreter of Maladies many moons ago but I do remember liking it.
