I've lost many friends too over the past few years. Some that were friends for 25-30 years and I'm 35. Morals and values and true colors showed and didn't match up. Now I've got a handful of true, Christian, conservative friends and I'm glad!

I have had a hard time getting out lately to find these kind of people due to personal events…… Haven’t let go of my values but dang if it isn’t a heckin’ lonely and frustrating existence. 😭 I don’t need the approval of people, sure, but it would be great to find some common ground.

Your best friend should be the person you're marrying. Even then, you can't agree on everything! Your other friends don't have to believe in everything you believe in. You're actually better if they don't. You can't live in an echo chamber.

When I was an event manager, I had a bride who was thrilled to find the absolutely perfect dress to go with our medieval looking venue. A few weeks later she called me in tears because her “best friend “ maid of honor went behind her back and ordered the same one for her own wedding which was to be a month earlier. I was flabbergasted at the betrayal, and she had to uninvite the girl and we prayed for her to find an even better dress, which she did. I’m sure their mutual friends were sympathetic in the right direction. She did have a great wedding though.

Just find good people my friends are really left leaning and really right and we all have different beliefs but when it comes down to it we would help each other we might have arguments but we all understand that is normal and that it's ok to have a close friend who isn't the same as you and we need that more in America

I feel lucky. My closest friends are the same friends I had in high school. 35years later, we still cover each others back.
