I've been struggling with each New Years for a few years now. Growing up I never thought I'd still be around at this age, so I never planned for my future. Every New Years I get intense anxiety for what might happen in the coming year, but this channel has always been a source of comfort for me in dark times. The comment about being a mess for the past decade really resonated with me. My mental health started to worsen when I was about 8 and nosedived when I was 11, when I had to be hospitalized (which did not help at all). I'm 18 now, and much better off. I'm almost fully functioning! But this really helped me, and I've been watching your videos since I was about 11 (sry if I made you feel old) and I just wanted to say thank you for 7 years of tingles. I can’t tell you what a comfort this channel is. It’s been an awesome year, but sometimes my optimism faulters and I dwell on the losses more than the wins. This channel reminds me that it’s okay to feel sad about stuff- but also to keep smiling because there are always people out there that care.
