TBF on cold climate, Japan has three higher snowfall record breaking cities than Canada. Canada climate is similar to Japan climate in temperature change except most of Canada is mostly mildly arid summers that make you thirsty whereas Japan has humid summers where you are just sweating all the time.

Canadians love Japan! I've met all ages of Canadians that have a positive view of Japan and Japanese people. Personally I am obsessed with Japanese cars, no one makes more reliable vehicles than the Japanese, and I very much appreciate that Japanese automakers like Toyota and Honda have a decades long manufacturing presence in Ontario, Canada where I live! Also Japanese entertainment is so refreshing and human compared to American corporate entertainment.

All my japanese friends ive meant here in calgary, AB, first went to Vancouver before coming to calgary. They all say they like calgary better. They said there is too many homeless in Vancouver and drug addicts in the streets like zombies. Also it rains to much. I think everyone i have meant from japan likes canada. Alot of them would like to stay.

I think Japanese poll takers are really considerate & it shows. I think Canada is seen as a positive country in many ways; and as polite as Japanese! Two countries I hope hold on to their value systems!

I think the fact that most people were neutral is pretty telling. Aka Canada is pretty irrelevant. Which I think is good, because it means we aren't getting idolized for no reason, or some unnecessary attention is being laid on us. Although this might have changed with the recent US trade controversy, considering that this short was posted a year ago.
