Union Budget 2024: FM Sitharaman Unveils Modi Govt's Nine Priorities for Budget 2024-25

In Modi govt's first major policy announcement, FM Sitharaman lists a roadmap to pursue nine priorities for India's opportunity. This includes productivity and resilience in agriculture, employment and skilling, social justice, manufacturing, urban development, infrastructure, energy independence, innovation, and next-generation reforms. Sitharaman said that in the next 2 years, 1 crore farmers will be initiated into natural farming. The government will release 109 varieties of 32 crops and will help natural farmers with certification and branding.
