Anna Ripley just went from being mildly annoying to public enemy number one as far as I’m concerned.

I knew Percy would die, and I expected that raising him from the dead would not be so easy, so the biggest shock for me was definitely Kash getting stepped on.

Kashaw's death is especially cruel knowing in original canon he and Z survive all the bullsh!t and start a family.

Kash dying was prob my biggest surprise that hit like a truck, i liked the relationship he had, i watched them with a smile knowing kash lives then he got squished and im like... oh

i personally expect all the deaths are a setup for a pike everlight powerspike or the reverse, the resurrections being the peak of her apostasy. Like her being able to willing them back to life to spite the gods.

On a meta-level, im not too worried about Percy, since everything in Animation is purposefully done. We wouldnt have had him mentioning the dragon-scales after the Vorugal fight (which he builds Vex's armor out of) or Ripleys gun lighting up after she killed him, if they planed on travel too far from C1 and keep him dead - not to mention his role in C3. The events about to come (99% sure Bards Lament will still happen, since Scanlans guilt/split attention is set up very well at this point) are just about to hit much harder this way.

Im guessing they cant make resurrection as simple and "cheap" as it is in the campaign for the animated series because it will lessen the stakes and impact of each death.
That being said my hope/predictions are,
They will somehow recover Percy's soul from Orthax to resurrect him, since they specifically mentioned in the show that those killed by Anna's guns have their souls claimed by him.
Scanlan is in a coma rather than fully dead so that again, they avoid having a proper "resurrection" in the show but it will still involve Kaylee seeing her father in that near dead state and bring on the ensuing conflict between Scanlan and the party when he is awoken.

In the actual play scanlan died against raishan in her lair with some of thordaks eggs if memory serves right, and that is when the infamous "fix him" scene took place.

We didn't get a scene of Vax seeing Percy's soul leave. But for Cassius we get one? Suspicious. They said in the same episode Orthax collects the souls killed by firearms. Could this be the angle to get Percy back? There is more story to tell about the hells with some plot points about it unresolved and the new Zerxus plot. As for Taryon, they could commit to Sam and Taliesin voicing him and his companion.

Don't forget Pike fully dropping the Everlight, saying the power is herself. With what is going on in the main campaign, and considering that they wrote this part back around the making of EXU Calamity (Travis explained this in the round table they posted a couple days ago), I feel they are going to be no holds barred in S4 (hopeful) and Mighty Nein

I am betting 5 quid that Pike is related to the Everlight. Like, she 100% is a descendant of her children from the Aeor mini-series. That's why there's power in her blood, there's no other explanation.

I was like the kid in the Princess Bride, yelling at the screen "YOU'RE TELLING IT WRONG! JEEZ GRANDPA, GET IT RIGHT!"

Fun fact, Percy is actually Taliesin's 2nd character in campaign 1. Before they started streaming their sessions, he had been playing a dragonborn paladin. That character died, and Percy was introduced. We see in S3E08 where he gets added to the party.

I have a feeling they might do a C3/Laudna-esque rescue mission to get Percy's soul which is trapped with Orthax, as I saw another comment say, we didn't have a moment where Vax saw Percy's soul leave like he did with Cashaw, so perhaps they have to save his soul before they can bring him back...seeing as there's no guarantee that we will get a Bell's Hell's animation, why not take inspiration from it? Just a theory....

It's still hard to say if Percy will return, but I think he has a good chance.
There are a few things that indicate he might return, for example, the glow on Ripley's gun after she killed Percy. Maybe the team goes after her for revenge and discovers that Ortax trapped Percy's soul in the gun, and uses it to revive him.
I also want to know what he did with Vorugal's scales after showing interest in them.

No mention of Pike's big decision while facing Thordak? That seemed like a big deal to me! OR the foreshadowing in the intro of Episode 7?!?!

Already know how Percy is coming back. He was supposed to go to Dis. They decided to put the Plate of the Dawnmartyr in Dis and not the City of Brass just to introduce Zurxes for whatever reason. They could of easily just put him in later. But Percy will find himself in Hell after being dead and he'll make a deal with Utugash to get out but his first child will be a Tiefling. They aren't gonna change canon THAT much
