Really good points. However, I really think our RB room is being heavily underrated. Part of that is the lack of experience there. But if you break down the way they ran the ball, the cuts, the commitment to hitting holes, the determination to get up field; I think you'll realize they have a ton to offer this team and a ton to show off when the playbook actually allows them to.
Obviously, I could very well be wrong about that. But, they look very similarly to how Dillon Johnson did at MSU, and he became a massive asset to Washingtons amazing season.

Granted: if you're saying they aren't special as in "they are going to be the greatest ever, " then ya i but you don't really see those kinds of running backs in this era. So, I think that's a little harsh of a comparison. But hey, we will see.

State is going to be better than people are thinking. Not 9-3 but definitely better than 6-6. Depends on the defense but the defense looked good but the 1s were going against the 2s. We need DBs out of the portal but if we do….. 8-4 is a maybe

The best running back is hurt Seth Davis. Hopefully he will be back this fall.
I think Parsons can be a serviceable #2. He's had one spring in this offense.
He is a heady guy who has the respect of his teammates.
I believe, with a good fall, he will become more comfortable with the reads.

I’m concerned about our D but I dont think it’s sirmon bad. Plus we usually always field a solid D, alot of tough nose Mississippi kids on that side

To lose bookie Watson and Jett Johnson the flatout 2 best LB´s in the SEC in the past 3 years will hurt this defense. But nobody of us expect a SEC Championship or 8 wins. We wanna see exiting football and that our guys leave it all on the field. Hail State !

Great insight Cole. Mostly concerned on defensive side of the ball but would rather lose 40-30 than 17-10 especially after last year’s debacle

I played highschool football with Vic Sutton (QB) who is an R-freshman. He definitly needed some work on pass progression as well back then, but he is a beast at running the ball. He has a super strong arm and is super smart, but I definitly think it may be another year or two till he will be ready. I was the same year in highschool as him and I think he can be valueable to this team in the future (even if that isnt at Qb). As always, love the pod!
