Resident Evil: Village - How to hide weapon charm

Go into the options menu, scroll to "special", and then select off on display weapon charm. I thought it looked a bit funny and might remove a bit of the immersion, so I didn't want it displayed.

Is there way you can remove the charm and put it on a different gun

Thanks. I put one on, _immediately_ decided it looked stupid, and found I couldn't take it back off again. I'd have never thought to check on the main menu to disable them.

These weapon charms compatible only with starter pistol and shotgun or you can use them later on different pistol or shotgun?
