I only trade areas of confluence and use dollar cost averaging. Stop losses are not only not needed but are an annoyance.

I exit the position based on the stock price level if the price goes out of the way where i didnt expected otherwise i keep holding my options

Yes stop loss is sooo tricky with options...I lose 70% of option value and next day I gain like 80% ....If i put stop losses, I would lose my capital.

Yeah stop losses are for weak hands I don’t use it even trading stocks now that I trade options again it’s money I can afford to lose if it’s goes to 💩

I can say with absolute certainty that the market maker or the brokers unfairly do market manipulation. I placed a large contract size on my option spreads on a 0DTE and as soon as my position was placed, the market chased down my trade position to make me lose my money at maximum loss. I did not put a stop loss & to my horror, watching my screen, the market was moving sideways to suddenly with so much volatility moving in a bearish direction chasing down my position. I was absolutely furious & so angry as i'm very convince that there is some market manipulation going on.

I am never using stop loss. I have to live with minus when i buy down or up for the first minutes when i am scalping even if the pips going minus 10, 15, 20 or 25. That is something you have to live with. Never take a loss. Been doing this for 8 years now and if i take a stop loss every time i am going minus fast on my account.
