1952 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop

This is as a 1952 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop.
The 1952 L.P originally would have had a trapeze tailpiece but they were known for not really having the best feel as the neck angle and tailpiece made for an awkward playing position.
This '52 has the stop tailpiece studs installed so a wraparound bridge could be used and the neck angle has been changed to accommodate the new bridge.
The pickups and electronics are original to 1952. The original finish has perfectly aged, the tall knobs are original as well as the pickguard.
Tuners are a later set of Kluson Deluxe but match perfectly.
