In this Path of Exile 2 video, I'm going to be discussing how to play the warrior class. This video is designed for new warriors out there. How to get off to the start with the warrior class. Explaining some of the basic mechanics how to play. It is not an advanced build guide that's meant for end game or cool difficulty or anything like that.

You can go to your skills menu to set up which weapon uses which skill, so you can switch weapons automatically when using a specific skill

Dont sleep on bone shatter. Its legit the pack clear on the warrior, if you have enhanced aoe size.
> hit lead monster with basic attack
>primes for stun
>hit with bone shatter
>clears the whole back behind it with shockwave
>rinse and repeat.

I am level 40 warbringer rn... And using mostly shield as my weapon <3 With shield charge+shield wall+infernal cry+magma barrier + leaping slam with consecrated ground, I am incredibly tanky while dealing lot of damage. Having huuuge armor on shield for extra damage scaling helps a lot. You have a lot of damage rotations according to your needs, your magma barrier hits like a TRUCK, gives you endurance charges for your infernal cry, which then greatly boosts your supowerpowered shield charges. Using boneshatter as finisher, clears packs really fast in combination with infernal cry.
On bosses I alternate between warcry/shieldcharge and shieldwall/leaping slam (for detonation and consecrated ground regen) for huge burst damages and great stun buildup, while blocking inbetween animations (you can animation cancel with block) for huge bursts of magma barrier damage.
Usually dodging only those hardest powered AOE slams as they cant be blocked and you have automatic blockframes for more than half of your damage rotation. You are absolute menace against 99 percent of bosses, unless you have underpowered elemental resistances :D Huge armor, huge block, automatic blocking and incredible HP regen.

This is the first and only guide I opened as so far, I have been stomping through the game by just playing sword and board and summoning my totems to destroy everyone. Feels more like a shaman lol

I am loving warrior so far. I’m currently level 29 in valley of the titans. I have the support gem that increases stun on my shockwave totem and it stuns most mobs on the first wave. A lot of people seem to dislike this class but I’m having a lot of fun, not really having difficulty with bosses either (except the end of act one he was tough).
Edit: I am exclusively 2 handed weapons. Early on, I recommend investing a small amount into dex, so that you can have access to the dex support gems. Use the one that increases attack speed by 25%. Early on I used this on rolling slam. Later in the game I switched it to my main attack, because it does the most damage (keep on the lookout for any items that increase attack speed, it makes a huge difference).

I loved comboing Rolling Slam with earthquake. Drop a quake at a choke point when mobs start rushing you. then do rolling slam on the same spot. the second slam will go off right about the same time as quake and do massive AOE dmg.

Just started my warrior last night because Ranger overall is not fun to me. I fucking love the warrior so far and by looking at this video i been doing everything the right way so far.

Ignore shield and just use a 2 hander for early game.

Check out the area effect damage and size nodes to get more utility and clear speed from your abilities.

The Mercenary start is to the right side of your start it has some pretty cool passives for Warrior (life regen, area effect, + armour, attack speed).

Mob kills- Rolling slam, the war cry and bone shatter

Boss- shockwave totem, earthquake, bone shatter

Good guide. One thing, you can assign skills to specific equipment sets. No need to have the 2 handed melee slotted to swap.

5:30 you can counter that in the skill gem menu: each skill gem has the option to be active to use only with weapon setup 1 or 2 (and this will change it automatically)
