Nice job so far! How about a pivot point towards the rear of truck bed to allow the trailer bed to angle down far enough that you don't need to add ramps? The winch could then be used to pull up vehicles towards the cab and the weight would level the bed once the payload was forward and over the truck frame. Of course a locking mechanism would then be engaged to secure the trailer frame. It looks as if you have enough truck frame and trailer length to make such a setup work.
Just a thought.
