This is a review of The Recycle Challenge 2022 feedback from Franziska. To date, The-Recycle-Challenge collected more than 1,650 pounds of glass from this one event. The-Recycle-Challenge Parade & Festival is a global initiative that asks an artist, student, or everyday person to complete one assignment. That assignment- create one item
Glass Half Full provided the service of collecting glass that was donated by attendees over the two-days. Our recycling process involves diverting used glass products from landfills and sorting, sifting, and ultimately converting them into sand products ranging from super soft, beach-like sand to glass gravel. The final products are used for coastal restoration projects, disaster relief efforts, eco-construction, new glass products, and so much more. The applications for sand are truly endless.
