This is definitely my favourite way to hear that song. Theres a long tradition of finding music you appreciate and reinterpreting it to add something of yourself... The dulcimer is so delicate and ethereal but sets out the template for the way this tune is going to go and also provides the heart of the song, at times when the notes climb upwards it sends a chill down my spine. An unusual and unfamiliar instrument played by a true musician. Total class.

I went to a Beatles Convention with my Ex Girlfriends family. There was a talent show in the afternoon we attended where a gentleman played a medley of Beatles songs on his hammer Dulcimer. It was about 800 rowdy people in the crowd and he started his set and within seconds the place was dead silent. He continued to play for what seemed like forever but it was the most beautiful music i had ever heard and was hypnotized the whole time. He finished and a second after he bowed the place erupted in cheers. He won the talent show no problem.
