The 52-week high/low is the highest and lowest price at which a security, such as a stock, has traded over the prior 52-week period.

It is a measure used by investors to analyze a stock’s current price and help predict its future movements.

A stock may garner more attention from investors as it nears its 52-week high or 52-week low.

Hi Ranie, I have what may seem like a dumb question but does the 52 week high or low reset regarding the counter once it hits those highs or lows or is it specifically only within that years quarters like let's say in mid year it hits a high does that mean it counts 52 weeks back from that new all-time high or if it only includes from January of that current year and not the six months counted.
