The King In Yellow was first metioned by Ambrose Bierce in some form of healer; Chambers cosolidate the versión de all know today.

Now I am curious, has any human attempted to rival these elder horrors and gods? Seeing how the theme normally says we are insignificant, I believe if someone tried, something terrible occurred. How ever I do not know...
Imagine a human able to not only survive but understand and avoid insanity by them so they could fight these very powerful things.

Yeah, yeah, we get it, so very many Eldritch abominations we shouldn't ever summon

But are there any we _should_ summon? That's the *_real_* question here....

Also, dear God that mustache is still here, haunting us, and apparently _spreading_

Look into the writings of Algernon Blackwood, a contemporary of Aleister Crowley, his horror stories were said to actually scare Lovecraft.

Yog is the one who scared me the most. He's the gate, the door, all is one in his eyes.

Thank you for listening to us and tackling different entities in the Lovecraftian universe

I think my favorite is good ol' Cthulhu. There is just something about him.
Speaking of Cthulhu, he has just been announced for the MOBA Smite. They are actually adding Cthulhu to the game. Hell. Yes.

What about Lucy McPhee?
The Top 5 Scary Lovecraftian Monsters You Should Never Summon is not talking about her.

She is lovecraftian beyond the comprehension of humankind.

I want to summon her so that she reveals to me the deep dark secrets of the universe even if I know it will make me go mad. Also I've heard she likes videogames so that is a big bonus.

Any tips for that?

We need a "Top 5 Scary Lovecraftian Monsters You Should Summon
" video. There has to be something worth summoning in the mythos.

Aside from Hastur I believe my favourite Lovecraftian entity would be Shub-Niggurath or Pan from Arthur Machen's The Great God Pan.

Oddly a benevolent mask of Nyarlathotep is The Horned Man. That is one mask worshipped in Dunwich with no real negatives for summoning it.

Hey Keegan how is that leg did It heal? In terms of favorite Lovecraft monster it would be Cthulhu, and Cthylla the secret daughter of the dreamer and my favorite Dagon. Did you know that the underwater film starring Kristen Stewart had an appearance by Cthulhu? Loved it you should watch it. Stay safe keegan love top 5 scary

I belive that are beings out there that are similar to the ones Lovecraft described...
Just think about how colosal the universe really is, and the dimensions of this universe we can't persive (we exist in a 3d dimension, and they could live in higher dimensions and that's why we can't see them)

Hastur first appeared and was first mentioned in Haita the Shepherd by Ambrose Bierce.

Hastur has to be my favorite. :) He's got all the swag needed to rule the world over his rather brutish brother Cthulhu.

Summoning these monsters for gain reminds me of a quote, "What does it profit a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul?".

Omg the oldest son of Cthulhu brought back childhood memories
Ultraman Tiga was one of my childhood shows and it’s movie “Ultraman Tiga: The Final Odyssey” was based on LoveCraft monsters but i didn’t realize until now that the final monster in the last episode of ultraman Tiga tv series was directly based on the oldest son of Cthulhu

Search it up. Episode 52 I think, look that that final boss of a monster. Compare it to Cthulhu’s oldest son

Just to diverge from the overall topic Keegan, but what the hell is that picture on your wall?? Is it some kind of SCP horror or just good ol' human weirdness...
