This video describes about the preparation of serum and plasma in the laboratory. Collect the blood in a anticoagulated tube and mix well and then centrifuge. After centrifugation, the upper part is serum. If you collect the blood in a tube without anticoagulant and allow the blood to clot and then centrifuge. After centrifugation the upper part is serum.

2:54 I think EDTA tubes (purple top tubes) shouldn't be centrifuged.

Its very nice information but we dont have a centrifuse machine then how to remove serum without centrifuge.
