The fuel for these investments is still not determined? Also, what about the science reports how increased noise, air, pollution affects birds and other migrating species. Another problem is privacy, there are already too many planes flying over private residents home who live in rural areas. I do not see this as a profit in our scifi future.

If a failure occurred, what FAA expect to PIC?. Overcoming problem by PIC or UAM/VTOL vehicle should be capable to mitigate safely by itslef. If so then why we should have PIC?

Great news!. In case air traffic becomes crowded, relation minimum speed of UAM/VTOL vehicle and separation requirements should be considered by PIC. Because, we do not expect the UAM/VTOL vehicle has to exit corridor, in the middle of the way.

Ref Figure 4 of FAA UAM ConOps V2.0. I wonder, if 2 corridors (left right way) is the only best solution. Four corridor such as (dual corridors of EAST-WEST) and another (dual corridors of NORTH-SOUTH) on top of EAST-WEST), might be suitable for crowded air traffic above busy big cities/metropolitan.

With today's global....economy, politics, .waste of 60years handshakings, agreements, etc....geopolotics is 1 of the priorities!! Allies are being made, and crushed!

And i take it for real news, ....is good news! Elon musk, tunnels, Hyperloop...has NOTHING of a green light, from authorities...

But, financially....this won't be for tomorrow, or next year, even this decade! Sadly.
