Why are these people sheltered and given healthcare when homeless Americans get little or nothing? Outrageous.

Isn't there enough poverty, homelessness, economic inequality, and misery in America yet?

Not to be insensitive, but we have our own homeless problem. These people came from another country and placed themselves in our country. And they're getting more help than the people that live here. This is ridiculous.

If you leave them to be homeless like the SF homeless population, they might stop coming. As long as they see the planes, buses and hotel rooms, they will continue to cross the border.

The lady said “ We’re basically playing with human life “ I hope she says the same thing about the homeless Americans that are living on the streets.

They have been trained to say that the fear for their life. Otherwise, they could not meet the asylum requirements! I'm sure there may be few with these issues, but what I know these people have to play to be the"victims" to qualify.🤷‍♀️
I just feel sad and sorry that there are people in this world who really need to be helped, and they never get the opportunity.

We are getting all these immigrants and expected to feed and house them. This is so crazy. Why are we spending our tax money on this. No one helps us when we need it. But let’s help everyone else

What I like about this situation is that, as soon as things got a little tough, the "caring", "progressive" politics of Mayor Adams, et al, went, like a flash of lightning, straight out the door.

What is Abbott suppose to do with all of the migrants. Should Texas take care of all of them?
